In this presentation, we’ll review what to expect when you sign up for a flash fiction or short story writing contest or competition, from choosing your challenge, signing up, preparing for the writing, and completing the submission. For choosing the challenge, we’ll review what you should be looking for as a writer, things you should know about signing up, how you can prepare for challenges where the prompt isn’t revealed, and how to complete the submission, once you’ve finished the hard part. We will also share some helpful links and resources.
