We are so excited for our next title (and first non-fiction product) to be out. When Veronica King first approached Zara with this project, fae seriously considered recommending our first-signed author instead take it to our shareholder’s publishing company, Ulysses Press, which has published multiple decks over the years. But with it featuring Inimitable titles, how could we not publish it ourselves?
It was a bit of a bumpy ride (it turns out that formatting art takes a lot more work than just words), but the deck is absolutely gorgeous and people have been loving it. Just check out Becca C Smith and Bree Buonomo‘s TikToks! Kate Cavanaugh has also intermittently been using this deck to determine sprint lengths on her streams, which has been super cool!
Our biggest coup, though, was getting Emily Rose Divination to review the deck!
And given how long it took to bring this deck to life (turns out formatting art for a printer is a lot more work than a novel, or a novel with art like Veronica King’s other books Down the Well and From the Diary of Agnes Jaeger: The Secrets of Silver Leaf Academy), it makes sense that the author was super excited to unbox her first deck!
